Glass can be so fragile and yet so durable. It’s difficult to understand that there are essentially the same materials in a delicate champagne flute, as there are in bulletproof glass windows. But flutes are only good for weddings and brunches, and unless you’re a professional, you don’t need bulletproof glass.
What you need are specialty cut pieces of glass and windows.
Specialty cut glass will provide any project with the right fit and feel. Perhaps your grandmother’s antique side table needs a new glass top? Perhaps your restaurant plans to turn those old wine barrels into dining tables? Whatever you design needs, contact a Spokane glass professional to see if they have the size and cut you’re looking for.
If eyes are the windows to your soul, then are windows the eyes to your home? It all sounds a bit strange but windows add character, provide warmth and shed light (literally) into any home or space. So whether you’re looking for stained glass windows, window blinds or window tinting, pay a visit to Spokane’s glass and window professionals.
Coming home with the new glass top or window is just the beginning. The hard part is keeping it clean and streak free. Here are a few tips to help keep your glass clean and sparkly.
1. Do not clean windows in direct sunlight as the cleaning solution can dry before you can get the window clean. This could leave streaks on your windows.
2. Before pulling out all of the cleaners and supplies, take a dampened towel and wipe the windows, windowsills, and frame to remove any excess dirt and grime.
3. Be sure to change out cleaning towels as they get damp and dirty. This will help to prevent streaking of the windows.
4. If you don’t like paper towels use black and white recycled newspaper or coffee filters to wipe down your windows.
5. A mixture of vinegar and water in a spray bottle can be used in place of the glass cleaner.
7. Many professional window cleaners swear by the use of a squeegee to clean windows.
8. If you are cleaning the inside and outside of the windows, use different cleaning strokes on each side.
